Fox Sports Marketing Communication Summer Internship (Paid)

Expand creative writing and journalism experience working with the production team at Fox Sports North (FSN) in Minneapolis! The production team handles the day-to-day production of live events, including pre- and post-game shows. Events are produced from the studio and location.

Intern projects and tasks:

  • Assist with editing of roll-ins, soundbites, teases as needed.
  • Shoot team-related events for air in shows.
  • Help gather and edit items for post-game shows.
  • Observe productions and learn what it takes to stack a show.
  • Observe a live production environment on-site.
  • Sharpen on-camera skills with help of reporters, if interested.
  • Other misc. tasks as needed.

Summer PAID Marketing Internship

Haworth Marketing + Media is beginning outreach to college students as we look towards Summer 2013. Our agency works on a complete range of media related aspects including planning, buying and strategizing. Our clients include Target, Ben & Jerry’s, Beats by Dre, Caribou, The U, and many more.

 

I am writing you today to let you know about an opportunity for your students to visit our agency on March 1st from 3-5pm. We will be hosting a college day where they will be able to tour the office, learn about what we do, and get more information about the media industry.

 

Although we don’t have 2013 opportunities firmed up, we typically have 2-5 paid intern positions available each summer.

Student Campaign of the Year (win money!)

The Caples Student Campaign of the Year requires students to design a marketing campaign. This year the challenge is to help Campus Mart (a fictitious retailer) drive awareness of its Preferred Member Program (PMP) among students and parents, while ensuring brand perception is elevated based on its broad array of products and focus on customer service. This assignment will include a written plan and creative elements.
