Expand creative writing and journalism experience working with the production team at Fox Sports North (FSN) in Minneapolis! The production team handles the day-to-day production of live events, including pre- and post-game shows. Events are produced from the studio and location.
Intern projects and tasks:
- Assist with editing of roll-ins, soundbites, teases as needed.
- Shoot team-related events for air in shows.
- Help gather and edit items for post-game shows.
- Observe productions and learn what it takes to stack a show.
- Observe a live production environment on-site.
- Sharpen on-camera skills with help of reporters, if interested.
- Other misc. tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Journalism/Telecommunications/Communications major
- Knowledge of and passion for sports
- Editing and some television background preferred
