Last year, we were very proud to be able to help out three talented students, providing them with the financial backing that they needed to continue their studies and to take their career further. This year, we are continuing that tradition with three more scholarships:
- A first-place price of $1,500.
- Second place, worth $1,000
- Third place, for $500
At Magesolar, we believe in education and in supporting the next generation of thinkers, engineers and leaders. They are the ones who will inherit our planet and all of its problems, and they are the ones who will stand the best chance of reversing the damage that we have done.
That’s why we established our annual scholarship to help shape that brighter, cleaner future. And after the fantastic reception of last year’s award, we really believe that our small contribution can make a difference.
If you have an interest in pursuing a career in solar, then you are entitled to take part and you could be the recipient of one of our cash prizes.
The scholarship is open to students of the following subjects:
- Biology
- Medicine
- Law
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Sports
- Architecture
To be considered for a scholarship, we want to learn what makes you tick. We’re looking for knowledgeable, talented and conscientious students that will be able to make a real difference in the world.
To get involved, we want you to write one of the essays demonstrating your understanding and passion for solar energy, as it applies to your field.
There is no word limit but don’t assume that those that write more will be in with a higher chance of winning! What we’re looking for here is passion, talent and an understanding of the subject and its complexities.
We want to see your potential to contribute to this growing industry and to play a part in ending our reliance on fossil fuels and non-renewable energy sources. So, keep that in mind as you write and we wish you the very best of luck!
Please send all entries to scholarship@magesolar.com, making sure to include your name, your age, your educational institute, your course and your nationality. The deadline is 29.06.2018 and after that, no further entries will be accepted. You’ll be notified shortly after if you are successful.
