Founded in 1952, CFA Society Minnesota is one of the oldest chapters of the prestigious CFA Institute. CFAMN is the 18th largest society of analysts among the 137 member societies and affiliates worldwide. For 60 years we have endeavored to play a vital role within the Twin Cities investment community. CFA Society Minnesota is the premier professional organization for Investment Professionals in the Twin Cities area and throughout our Midwest region. With members in five states and a wide variety of industries, we strive to serve our broad membership through relevant educational programming, membership support services, and opportunities for advancement such as networking events and discounts on educational materials.

Job Description:
This position is an unpaid internship with the CFA Society of Minnesota. Interns will report to the Operations Manager and work directly with staff and/or board members.

Projects will include:
· Mining and quantifying data
· Copy editing and desktop publishing
· Supporting and coordinating our August 1st InvestMNt Conference
· Local industry market research and analysis

The ideal candidate will be:
· Detail oriented
· Organized, efficient and self-motivated
· Familiar with spreadsheet creation and management
· Interested in the local finance and business community
· Willing to help with a variety of programs and tasks
· Willing to work in downtown Minneapolis during business hours

Timeframe for Internships:
4-8 weeks, between May 1 – September 1
8-12 office hours per week on a consistent schedule, preferred
Reimbursement for travel via Metrotransit is available
