The application window for Folds of Honor is now open for the 2018 application season through\u00a0March 31.<\/p>\n
Scholarships are used to subsidize the costs of tuition, school books, fees, on-campus room and board, approved educational tutoring, and other approved educational expenses that a student\u2019s school may deem appropriate.<\/p>\n
The Children\u2019s Fund Scholarship program is for dependents of service members enrolled in grades Kindergarten \u2013 12. Funds may be used for approved\/accredited private school tuition, IRS approved educational tutoring from an approved tutoring company, approved\/accredited homeschool curriculum, required books and required school uniforms.<\/p>\n
The Higher Education Scholarship<\/strong>\u00a0program is for students who will be entering, or are already attending a 2- or 4-year college, university, technical school, or accredited certificate program. Applicants must be 24 years old or younger and a dependent of the service member. If the applicant is the spouse of a service member, there are no age requirements\/limitations but must currently be married to service member or not remarried if widowed.<\/p>\n Scholarships are awarded up to $5,000 for both the Children’s Fund and Higher Education scholarships. Award amount is based on the \u201cunmet need\u201d calculated on the Financial Need page of the application.<\/p>\n
