Andy Nina Evelyn Anderson is a second year student at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She studies New Media, Marketing, and Communication for a full examination of the intersections of human communication and media technology, especially from the perspective of a Western nation that uses them to perpetuate products, and thus their ideals, across the world.

Through her triple focus on communication, marketing, and new media studies, she examines how emergent media best facilitates relationships. Her portfolio includes non-profit organizations, educational institutions, animation studios, student groups, small businesses, and social justice initiatives, making her work a synthesis of diverse experiences with measurable, award-winning results.

On the side, she is a nationally-distinguished humanitarian activist known for her work with minority youth in educational settings. She is interested in a career in digital communication that will create lasting, positive change for organizations on the front lines of innovation and inclusion.

Philanthrofund Foundation (PFund) invested thousands of dollars in Andy’s leadership, and chose her to represent the 2016 cohort of leaders distinguished for their social justice in the Upper Midwest region of the United States.
